CP (Cathodic Protection) and Corrosion Services Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES
The CP / Corrosion Services Manager is responsible for company CP and Corrosion related services including but not necessarily limited to the following:

- Management and Coordination of CP & Corrosion Project Staff
- Management and Coordination of CP & Corrosion Projects
- Management and Coordination of all existing company CP / Corrosion software / hardware products
- Manage the development of innovation and implementation of CP & Corrosion related technology within the Company. i.e. R&D activities
- Achieve timely development and completion of projects through the management, direction and motivation of company staff
- Preparation of CP & Corrosion related quotes and tenders Perform relevant contract review prior to the acceptance of new clients and projects
- Protect and ensure the retention of intellectual property developed for the Company by its employees
- Control, distribution and filing of all CP / Corrosion Engineering related procedures, papers, and associated publications
- In consultation with the Company Management, development of business opportunities and sales with regard to CP & Corrosion services and products of the company
- Preparation of CP & Corrosion related budgets, forecasts, specifications, technical procedures and publications etc.
- Management, preparation and issue of clients project reports
- Where necessary assist with management and support of other company non- CP & Corrosion projects
- Support company marketing activities in relation to CP & Corrosion services and products
- Where necessary assist in company tender / contract preparation & review.
- Assist company management of personnel in line with company procedures and safety management systems
- Assist company management with training, specifically with regard to CP & Corrosion services and products

Prerequisites

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION
Have a tertiary qualification preferably in an engineering discipline or commensurate career experience.
TRAINING
Possess formal training, qualifications and experience in relevant engineering disciplines.
Have good computer skills and be familiar with the MS Office suite of software products including MS Project.
EXPERIENCE
Have a sound technical background and proven track record supervising technical personnel and projects.
