ROVR04 - ROV Pilot Technician Grade 2 IMCA R04 – C005 - 4 Weeks
THE Entry Level ROV Course
This is THE entry level course for NEW Personnel joining the ROV Industry.This course gives ALL Competences needed to be issued a Grade 2 pilot Certificate & Log Book.
The Industry Standard Certification
In November 2009 IMCA ROV Division Issued a revision 2 of their C005 document which has changed and increased the minimum competencies required to be certified as a ROV Pilot Technician Grade 2 IMCA R04.
Grade 2 IMCA R04 is the standard industry entry level requirement of personnel by IMCA Member ROV companies.

After completing our Competency Based Training and being assessed as Competent you will be issued with a ROV Pilot Technician 2 Certificate and Log Book with all competences assessed, recorded and stamped by Subnet who are IMCA members.
Self-Study Available
Some of this course may be offered as E-Learning Modules to allow you to learn at home in your own time, for preperation and be Assessed at our Training and Assessment Centre.

ROV1002 - ROV Familiarisation Basic Introductory Module - Online E-learning

In May 2009 IMCA ROV Division Issued The Following Recommendations:
“It is recommended that new personnel to the ROV industry attend an introductory module before their first trip offshore. This can be provided by a recognised training establishment, or alternatively by the ROV contractor.”
The course is FREE to ALL delegates participating in our ROV Pilot Technician Grade 2 IMCA R04 – C005
Outline Knowledge
The course is meant to deliver an outline knowledge.
In the IMCA recommendation ‘outline knowledge’ means that the person should be familiar with the subjects in outline terms only and be able to demonstrate such outline knowledge of the subject matter by answering suitably worded questions.

Subnet Services have developed this e-learning course to deliver those requirements. You can do the course at home and be assessed at our training and assessment centre while attending course R04
ROV1003 - ROV Tech Refresher 3 - 2 Weeks
Competency Assessment
with 10 Logged Flying Hours
Target
This course is aimed at those in the ROV industry who are not yet COMPETENT in Hydraulics, High Voltage, High Voltage Safety and Fiber Optics and their relationship with ROV Operations (perhaps they have been electronics technicians only). Who also NEED some extra Flying Hours in their LOG BOOK to help ascertain their overall competence for employers.
Hydraulics, High Voltage, High Voltage Safety and Fiber Optics for ROV Pilot Technicians.
This course covers theory and practical hands on bench work and delivers competences for ROV Hydraulics, ROV High Voltage, ROV High Voltage Safety with the addition of our ROV Fiber Optics module. PLUS 10 hours logged rov flying completing tasks over oilfield simulated objects.
ROV1004 - ROV Tech Refresher 4 - 4 Weeks
Competency Assessment
with 10 Logged Flying Hours
Target
This course is aimed at those in the ROV industry who are not yet COMPETENT in Electronics, High Voltage and Fiber Optics and their relationship with ROV Operations (perhaps they have been mechanical technicians only ). Who also NEED some extra Flying Hours in their LOG BOOK to help ascertain their overall competence for employers.

This course covers theory and practical hands on bench work and delivers competences for ROV Electronics, ROV High Voltage, ROV High Voltage Safety with the addition of our ROV Fiber Optics module PLUS 10 hours logged rov flying over oilfield simulated objects and ship wrecks.
ROV1005 - ROV Electronics for New ROV Pilot Technicians - 2 Weeks
Target
This course is for new delegates taking the ROVR04 course to enter the industry but who have no electronics experience but want to be able to offer these competences to employers. This course should be taken immediately prior to doing ROVR04
Competences
This course covers theory and practical hands on bench work and delivers competences relating to ROV Electronics all delegates doing this course will build and test their very own working ROV model.

TEL2001 - Fiber Optics Technician – FOA Accredited – FOA Certification - 3 Days
Target
This Accredited and Certificated Fiber Optics Technician Course is designed for anyone interested in becoming a Fiber Optics Technician or who needs to understand or use Fiber Technology within their job.
Hands On
This program combines both theory and practical exercises with at least 75% hands-on activities.
Standards
This course introduces the student to industry standards governing:
- FTTD (Fiber To The Desk)
- FTTH (Fiber To The Home
- LAN/WAN fiber networks
and further introduces the student to Practical Fusion and Mechanical Splicing.
